PLN Reflection.

Part i)

Module II required an understanding of Professional Learning Networks: networking designated for professional use in the context of teaching. I started a network on Twitter which required me to branch out and subscribe to feeds from various users that would be helpful during my teaching career. 

 

I chose Twitter for its simplicity and large user base. With over 250 million users, there are a diverse choice of users to follow.

Part ii)

Using Padlet, a free online collaboration tool, I posted my thoughts on the benefits of PLNs. In short, PLNs allow educators to enhance their teaching capabilities through the expansive reach of the internet. Global connectivity to virtually millions of teachers, educators, students, and even "Lurkers" benefits teachers by allowing a free-flow exchange of ideas with little restriction.
